Vermont Wagyu

Raised on a 1300 acre mixed farm in north eastern Alberta, Canada.  The farm included a  200 cow/calf pair and backgrounding operation of commercial angus and angus/hereford cross cattle and 400 acres of barley and oat production.  Graduated veterinary college from the University of Prince Edward Island in 1998 with emphasis on large animal medicine and surgery.  Worked at a mixed large and small animal practice for 6 years in New Hampshire.  Followed by owning an ambulatory large animal practice for 10 years servicing Vermont, New Hampshire and Mass.  Presently is the on staff veterinarian and farm supervisor for Spring Rock Farm/Vermont Wagyu in Springfield, Vermont and practicing ambulatory service on a part time basis.  Primary veterinary interest is bovine reproduction, nutrition and food safety.  Personal interest of helping farmers in Vermont to put a tasty, healthy and safe product on the plate of our consumers.
